If you are looking for a wedding photographer I 100% recommend going with J. Songy photography. Jenna did both my bridal portraits and all of our wedding photos (with a wonderful 2nd photographer, Dani). She is great at getting natural, candid reactions out of people that make for stunning photographs, which still getting beautiful staged photographs as well. She made our amazing day even better by capturing everything we wanted and more, while supporting us the entire time. Jenna is professional, personable, and a a lot fun! Run, don’t walk, to book J. Highly, highly recommend Jenna! She did such an amazing job with our wedding photos in Wisconsin. She traveled all the way from Louisiana, and the only things we covered were her plane ticket and hotel stay. For $700, she photographed our entire wedding and delivered over 1,000 incredible photos.
She captured every little detail so beautifully and truly brought our day to life. Not only is she incredibly talented behind the camera, but she also went above and beyond throughout the entire day. She made sure the bride and groom were fed, helped the wedding coordinator when needed, and made sure we got every dream photo I had asked for.
She is wonderful at what she does — even getting the little ones to smile for pictures! I can’t recommend her enough, whether you’re based in Louisiana or planning a destination wedding like I did. She is absolutely worth it!

If you need professional photos done we couldn’t recommend Jenna more! She absolutely crushed it on our wedding day in March 2023 for our elopement, even while being just 6 weeks postpartum, which still amazes us. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and we were so impressed with the turn around time of our photos. She captured our special day beautifully especially given we’re not big ‘picture people’, yet she made it feel so easy and the photos turned out better than we could’ve imagined. Beyond her talent, her personality truly made the experience. She was easygoing, confident, hilarious, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She treated us as if we were already best friends. She knew what she was doing, and it shows in the beautiful shots we love to look back on. We love her work so much that we’ve been meaning to reach out again to book her for family photos. We’re so grateful we chose her!

We hired her for my daughter's wedding in Wisconsin. She was absolutely amazing. Not only did she take amazing pictures, but she also made she my daughter and son in law got their meals, got them drinks throughout the night and even drove them back to the hotel.
